Dave + Fran Visit 2016

My brother Dave and his wife Fran came to California for a visit in December 2016. They flew from St Louis to San Jose where Rena and I met them and spent a few days visiting Andi and Marla and the Grandkids. After a day in San Francisco, we drove to Morro Bay and spent the night before returning to Redondo Beach. It was a very busy week! The itinerary is as follows.

Fri Dec 2 - Fly to San Jose. Attend Alex's Cub Scout event in the evening.
Sat Dec 3 - Watch Los Gatos parade and help cut a Christmas Tree for Andi.
Sun Dec 4 - Spend entire day in SF including Lands End hike, Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf, cable car ride, and dinner in Chinatown.
Mon Dec 5 - Drive to Montana De Oro for a hike. Stay at an airbnb in Morro Bay and eat at Taco de Mexico.
Tue Dec 6 - Drive to Redondo Beach stopping at the Getty Museum in route.
Wed Dec 7 - Take a Long Beach Harbor Cruise and tour the Destroyer IOWA in San Pedro on Pearl Harbor Day.
Thur Dec 8 - Dave joins Rich and Greg for a morning mountain bike ride in Palos Verdes. Then on to Venice Beach before coming home for a potluck dinner with friends.
Fri Dec 9 - Dave and Fran spend the entire day in Hollywood. We all walk to Redondo Pier in the evening.
Sat Dec 10 - Fly home to St Louis
