Rich Henke is a traveler/adventurer and has photographed all over the world. His primary photographic interests are natural landscapes in hard-to-reach places and portraits of people in foreign cultures. Rich does canoeing, kayaking, climbing, canyoneering, mountain biking, skiing, and world travel.  All these activities provide him with a large amount of interesting subject matter for photography. He has organized numerous trips to the Arctic, the American Southwest, and to third world countries. In earlier years Rich did some major climbing including the Cassin Ridge on Denali, the North Face of Mount Robson, a solo climb of Hauscaran, and Dhaulagiri in Nepal, the 6th highest mountain in the world. Rich keeps busy following the mantra "DO IT WHILE YOU CAN". He lives in Redondo Beach, CA with his wife Rena who joins in many of the activities. He has given many travel and outdoor presentations  and has had solo photography exhibits at the Tang Gallery in Bisbee, AZ and the Palos Verdes Art Center close to home. Rich tries to “capture the moment” with his photos and does only minor adjustments to his images. You can contact Rich at rich@adventureplus.org
